How Much Does Laser Hair Removal Cost?
Shine Med Spa offers some of the most competitive prices on laser hair removal packages in the area. We believe this is a service that should be made affordable as many people struggle from complications associated with frequent shaving, such as ingrown hairs, skin infections, folliculitis, or razor burn. The cost of a session depends on the size of the area treated. We recommend starting with a package of 6 treatments. All packages are discounted by 15%. Depending on how your skin responds to the treatment, you may need an additional 1-2 treatments. Any additional treatments completed within the recommended period of 4-6 weeks would also be discounted by 15%.

Will You Need Additional Treatments?
Most people only require a single series of laser hair removal treatments. However, certain life events and medical conditions such as pregnancy, menopause, and PCOS, which affect hormonal levels, could cause hair regrowth. If you experience hair regrowth following a series of laser hair removal treatments, you may benefit from 1-3 touch up treatments or an occasional maintenance treatment.
Are There Risks Associated with Laser Hair Removal?
Side effects include redness and swelling, irritation, blistering, pain, and temporary darkening or lightening of the skin. Rare but serious side effects can include burns, scarring, infection, increased hair growth, and discoloration or damage to tattoos.
Some factors such as darker skin tones, having a history of scarring or keloid formation, active infections, certain medications and pregnancy can increase the risk of side effects.
To minimize the risk of adverse effects, follow your pre and post-treatment instructions, protect your treatment area from sun exposure, avoid tanning beds, and use sunscreen regularly.
